Q: I like guide pictures when I work a puzzle. Why don't you provide one with each Pisces Puzzle?
A:
I think discovering the image as you go along is half the fun of
solving a puzzle! Plus, my favorite way to use figural pieces is to
design them as "clues" to the subject matter portrayed in your puzzle
image.
Q: Are Pisces Puzzles suitable for children?
A: In general, Pisces Puzzles are not recommended for children under 8. Pisces Puzzles have small pieces that may present a choking hazard to curious toddlers. (I have a "test toddler" on staff, so I know what I'm talking about.) My puzzles also employ a number of tricks that may frustrate a young puzzler. Keep the age and personality of the puzzle recipient in mind when ordering. I want you to have a safe and happy experience with your Pisces Puzzle.
Q: How much will my puzzle cost?
A: My puzzles are sold at the price of $1.00/puzzle piece. I aim for 2 pieces per square inch. Your puzzle's price will depend on its size. For example, an 8x10 puzzle would be 80 square inches, have roughly 160 pieces, and cost roughly $160.00. All puzzle prices are in U.S. Dollars.
Q: What range of puzzle sizes does Pisces Puzzles provide?
A: I will make puzzles as small as a business card. The maximum size I can currently produce is 16x20.
Q: How long does it take to get my puzzle?
A: A custom puzzle will usually take 2-3 weeks to reach you once cutting begins. If you are ordering for a holiday gift, I recommend you place your order two or three months in advance. If you wait until the last minute, I may not be able to squeeze your order into the queue.
Q: Where is your workshop? Do you sell your puzzles in any shops? Will you ship internationally?
A: The Pisces Puzzles workshop is located in a home studio near Vancouver, B.C., Canada. I do not have a retail location at this time. I will ship worldwide.
Q: Do you have any ready-made puzzles for sale?
A:
I do occasionally sell finished puzzles on eBay or on this website.
Delivery time for these puzzles is much shorter than for my customized
puzzles.
